Please See COVID-19 Update
COVID-19 continues to impact our neighbors throughout the country and world. Our volunteers are practicing social distancing, and are helping by phone versus our standard in-home visits until further notice.
Together, with faith, we will get through this pandemic!
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping others.
A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVdP) is an international Catholic service organization whose purpose is to provide spiritual growth to its members through their charitable works. Our volunteers visit those in need in their homes and listen with empathy and compassion. We provide hope, community resource information, financial assistance and follow up support including prayer support as requested. The work of the Society is supported by the generosity of the parishioners of St. Helen's Catholic Church. They contribute to the monthly Black Bag collection to assist their Georgetown neighbors in need.
Our society serves all who call for assistance regardless of race, national origin, religion, sex or age. This conference serves our neighbors in Georgetown, Texas. Please see "Eligibility" on the Services page.
